Event Details
It's never been easier to develop great games, tech or apps, and it's never been easier as a developer to reach out to your players and customers. The tools and the technology may be there however but then so is everyone else so how do you make yourself stand out from the crowd? How do you distinguish your game in a hugely competitive marketplace? How do you rise to the top?
PR & marketing skills are now more vital than ever for small tech startups and indie game developers, and this workshop is designed to help you focus on your strengths, bolster your weaknesses and learn from the experience of others. Drawing on over 20 years in the games industry as a journalist, graphic designer and PR & marketing professional, Natalie Griffith will guide the group through an introduction to the importance of embracing PR and brand-building. This collaborative workshop will allow attendees to discuss tactics, share their experiences and learn from each other about how to best to tackle a variety of PR and marketing challenges, including:
making time for PR
choosing the right tools
forging media relationships
building communities
So whether you're part of a small start-up with ambition or a growing studio that's already going places, whether you have something to learn or something to share, then this session could be for you.
Places are free but require pre-booking so sign up now!
(Please note: 1 Company Ticket is for a maximum of 2 people)
